Second volume of the Archivo Nómada collection, edited by Editorial Cabeza de Chorlito. Its 736 pages contain nearly 2,500 photographs, most of them unpublished, taken by the spanish photographer Alberto García-Alix between 1982 and 1986.
The author shows his life, his surroundings and his daily life in a historical moment for Spain, of great political, social and cultural upheaval such as the end of the Transition and La Movida. This period also corresponds to the beginning of his professionalization as a photographer, a stage in which he began to use the medium format, one of the most characteristic features of his work.
This second volume of Archivo Nómada is preceded by the first volume that covers the years 1975-1981, published by Editorial Cabeza de Chorlito in 2023.
