13 Mar Alberto García-Alix exhibits in Vienna
The exhibition “Irreducibles” by the photographer Alberto García-Alix will be exhibited at the Cervantes Institute in Vienna, from March 13th to May 18th, 2024. This work consists of 28 photographs, a large part of which are portraits, taken between 1987 and 2015. In the words of the curator Gonzalo Golpe: “this exhibition collects part of his life and connects it to that of others. Here are those who remain by his side, but also those who left. Men and women who in these photographs are truly subjects and motives: subjects, because it is through them that life is enunciated; motives, because without them Alberto would have been another.”
At 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, on the occasion of the exhibition, García-Alix will offer a talk led by the Spanish artist, photographer and teacher Ana Fuentes at the headquarters of the Cervantes Institute in Vienna. More information here.
