21 Jun Alberto García-Alix, Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts 2019

Alberto García-Alix has received the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts 2019, along with 23 other personalities, granted by Spain’s Ministry of Culture and Sports. This award distinguishes people and entities that have stood out in the field of artistic and cultural creation or have provided notable services in the promotion, development or divulgation of art and culture or in the conservation of artistic heritage.

Among those who have received this recognition in 2019, are the chef Martín Berasategui, the actresses Julieta Serrano and Rossy de Palma, the singer Martirio, the photographer Chema Madoz, and the American singer and songwriter Patti Smith.
